Kurt Runyon

Kurt Runyon, strangely enough, comes from a long line of entertainers. He grew up listening to his mother and father on their LP of The Best of Chickenman radio series. "Wow! Mom and dad did silly, fun things for a living!", he thought. Then to make matters worse, his older sister became a successful, working actress, and dragged her little brother around all the sets she worked on. Between that and his love of making people giggle, he knew it was inevitable that he would have to be entertaining on a stage…or else end up in the principal's office. After doing stand-up for a few years, which was fun, something was missing (It's lonely up there!). Then, on a chilly, crisp night in October, he wandered into a five-week Improv class at Pierce College and never looked back. Kurt looks forward to bringing his beatnik ways to this wonderful cast of merry-makers. Oh! And feel free to offer him a glass of scotch…he won't say no.
